At EuroShop 2026, HAUSER will showcase its latest developments in refrigerated cabinets, refrigeration systems and services at stand C35 (Hall 14). Highlights of the high-quality product portfolio include the energy-saving REMETA Connect refrigerated cabinet and the particularly energy-efficient MIRENGO03 Connect Air Eco freezer. With the VITHEA Transformer counter, the full-service provider demonstrates how service counters can easily be converted into self-service counters. In the field of refrigeration technology, HAUSER is presenting two innovations: The ecoFusion technology sets new standards for highly efficient, sustainable refrigeration systems. In addition, HAUSER is showing a furniture prototype developed together with MAGNOTHERM, whose refrigeration unit uses the magnetocaloric effect.
At the trade fair, HAUSER will present its comprehensive range of high-quality products and turnkey systems, characterised by high energy efficiency, durability and cost-effectiveness. In addition to low energy consumption and maximum benefit, the refrigeration technology specialist also attaches importance to sustainability. For example, the plastic tray of the REMETA series is made entirely from recycled material. HAUSER also uses only natural refrigerants such as CO2 and propane. “Wherever technically possible and sensible, we use sustainable materials. The longer service life also conserves valuable resources and reduces the CO2 footprint,” says Wolfgang Penn, Team Leader Product Management Systems and Technical Products at HAUSER. HAUSER meets the trend towards solutions for small spaces in shops and petrol stations with the space-efficient furniture of the MIRENGO and VINIA series as well as the flexible Transformer counters. “This means that even small floor spaces can be used optimally and maximum flexibility in product presentation can be achieved,” explains Penn.
Energy-saving and economical refrigerated cabinets
With REMETA Connect (Water), HAUSER sets new standards in terms of energy efficiency and operational reliability. Compared to the previous REGIUS Connect (Water) model, the system saves up to 14 percent energy, reduces operating costs and shortens the payback period. Waste heat can be specifically used for heating, increasing overall efficiency. EcoMotion3 triple air curtain and multi-circuit redundancy ensure maximum temperature stability and safety. Easily removable cladding parts, a freely accessible furniture tray and plenty of space under the unit make cleaning and maintenance easier. Flexible design, simple installation, a wide range of decors and individually usable product presentation systems round off the concept.
Also new is REFINO Connect – a glass door refrigerated cabinet that combines elegant design with the technical advantages of Connect technology. As with REMETA Connect, the multi-circuit technology ensures high operational reliability, complemented by a service-friendly design and compliance with the highest hygiene requirements. REFINO Connect is optimised for use with Infinity glass doors, allowing the refrigeration units to be installed space-savingly on the top of the unit. This means the unit requires less floor space while maintaining the same internal volume.
Freezers with top energy efficiency
The top model MIRENGO RMG03 Connect Eco scores with sophisticated air guidance, energy-free frame, premium glass doors for the best possible product visibility and a patented energy recovery system. This enables the unit to achieve the best energy efficiency index in class B. Thanks to the optimised design and energy-efficient refrigeration technology, 10 percent more net volume is available, while MIRENGO RMG03 Connect Eco consumes over 20 percent less energy than conventional freezers.
The facelift of the MERANIS06 freezer island impresses with its high transparency and durability: The large panoramic glazing offers a clear view of the goods. The low height also enables an open, modern market design and makes it easier to access the products. Particular attention was paid to high service and cleaning friendliness as well as easy handling for staff and end customers.
Hybrid refrigerated counters with top energy performance for flexible use
With the Transformer counters of the VITHEA counter series, HAUSER demonstrates how service counters can be converted into self-service counters in just a few steps, in line with the demand for multifunctional concepts. This allows the delicatessen line to be flexibly adapted to requirements and the product presentation area to be used in the best possible way. The VITHEA Transformer counters are available in two different versions: with folding and sliding glass elements or, for more transparency and product access in self-service mode, with a rearward sliding, bonded glass structure.
The half-height VITHANDO self-service counter is particularly energy-efficient. Its double airflow technology ensures an exceptionally stable air curtain and prevents cold losses. In addition, energy consumption is reduced by the optimised refrigeration and mechanical design. In addition to its high energy efficiency, VITHANDO impresses with its versatility: three design variants, numerous colours and a wide range of geometries allow for a design tailored to the respective market concept.
The modular VITHEA Gastro counter system also focuses on high flexibility. The cooled vertical special elements can be seamlessly integrated into the front design of the refrigerated counters and optimally showcase the product range thanks to the multi-level presentation form. The increasing demand for hot food for out-of-home consumption – whether as a hot counter with ready-to-eat food or as a hot-to-go insert – is also met with the Gastro counter systems. Various sizes and versions are available to meet requirements.
Innovative refrigeration technology
HAUSER also has news to report in the field of refrigeration technology: With ecoFusion technology, the company is setting a new standard for highly efficient and sustainable systems, especially at high outside temperatures. The system, developed in cooperation with Graz University of Technology, uses the natural refrigerants CO2 (R744) and propane (R290) in several refrigeration circuits. The modular subcooler is specially designed for transcritical CO2 systems. The compact system is available in two sizes and enables stable and energy-efficient operation at 45°C outside temperature and above. In addition to integration into new systems, the HAUSER ecoFusion subcooler is the ideal solution for retrofitting existing systems.
Another major innovation is magnetocaloric technology. In cooperation with the company MAGNOTHERM, HAUSER is presenting a fully functional furniture prototype at EuroShop, whose “ECLIPSE” refrigeration unit is based on the magnetocaloric effect and is refrigerant-free, safe and low-maintenance. This technology offers significant efficiency potential compared to conventional refrigeration by gas compression. “Magnetocalorics opens up new perspectives in terms of energy efficiency, operating costs and sustainability. The technology is still in its infancy, but promises substantial progress in the performance and service life of refrigeration systems,” says Wolfgang Penn.
