The training programme for technical designers focuses on mechanical engineering with a focus on quality, precision and efficiency.
- Project-oriented work based on knowledge of project and quality management
- Design of machines, systems and components, as well as their parts
- Production of model recordings and sketches
- Creation of drawings of technical components and assemblies in mechanical engineering in different views and perspectives
- Performing technical calculations
- Application and solution finding in the design system and technology of mechanical engineering
- Selection of materials in accordance with requirements
- Control of the manufacturing process and coordination of deadlines
- Commissioning and optimisation of the designed machines
- Preparation of relevant documentation
- Maintaining contact with suppliers
