The training programme for technical designers focuses on mechanical engineering with a focus on quality, precision and efficiency.

  • Project-oriented work based on knowledge of project and quality management
  • Design of machines, systems and components, as well as their parts
  • Production of model recordings and sketches
  • Creation of drawings of technical components and assemblies in mechanical engineering in different views and perspectives
  • Performing technical calculations
  • Application and solution finding in the design system and technology of mechanical engineering
  • Selection of materials in accordance with requirements
  • Control of the manufacturing process and coordination of deadlines
  • Commissioning and optimisation of the designed machines
  • Preparation of relevant documentation
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers
