A reason to celebrate: The Austrian team put in a fantastic performance at EuroSkills 2025 in Herning, Denmark – and Jonas Danninger is one of the jubilant winners!
From 10 to 14 September, around 600 young professionals under the age of 25 from 32 nations competed against each other in 38 professions. Austria was represented by 44 participants in 36 professions – and with impressive success:
- 6 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals as well as
- 17 Medallions for Excellence went to Team Austria.
Jonas Danninger impressed in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning category with his outstanding technical expertise and was awarded not only gold, but also the title of ‘Best of Nation’ – as the best Austrian participant in the entire competition!
EuroSkills 2025 came to an end with the award ceremony on Sunday evening. The EuroSkills flag was handed over to the organising team of EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 – and Austria can proudly look back on a strong demonstration of the quality of domestic training.
